For 88 GT:

Since ACDelco disconnected Idle Air Control Valve, who has the best Idle Air Control Valve on the market?

So far, the Fiero Store seem to have the best one. Does anyone know where TFS get theirs from?

Thank you.

Can't really say as which is the "best" one as I don't think people actually benchmarked them in some way. I say buy whatever.

I see the IAC for the V6 fiero on e-bay a lot. Its AC Delco. The part number is 217-437.

There still out there.

Check Rock Auto ----- They list a number of different quality and price point units. You do get what you pay for so if you go cheap you generally get cheap.

I already checked Rock Auto and feel their best one is not the best one.

Does anyone remember what the ACDelco part number is for Idle Air Control Valve before it was disconnected?

It might help me to cross reference for another better quality.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I checked and it turns out 217-437 is not compatible for 88 GT, only for 2.5L 85-88.

Do you remember what it was for 2.8L? That might help.

Thanks.

The GM part # 25527077 for the 2.8L V6.

Same IAC for 85-88 V6s.
