Mine sprung a leak a few years back, I just replaced it with a stock type one that a local radiator shop recommended. It does the job. My 86 SE has an aluminum radiator from a previous owner, so I don't know its specifics.

I am using three core radiators (one from Archie and a couple of Champions from eBay).

Archie has a written procedure that shows exactly what needs to be done to mount the new radiator. Fortunately the mods are very small things and quickly accomplished.
