Hello, I just replaced alternator in my 87 fiero v6. It ha a very little oil leak before I started but when I had finished and ran the car for awhile there was a lot of oil under the car. The alternator replace was difficult, bracket bolted on to the motor mount, had to pry engine to line up holes again to bolt together. Any suggestions

An obvious question is what were you prying on? Anything to do with the oil pan and/or timing chain cover?

Did you poke a hole in the filter or damage the oil pressure sending unit? Lot's of stuff that doesn't like to be poked and pried on in that area.
