Hello All I am back in the game. Today I bought this 87GT. Its a T-Top car with very nice paint for 29 years old. I have a couple things I want to do to her like getting the hot air intake off the car. Needs to go back to stock. I am going to look for a nos cd radio and some new speakers. I am very happy to be back in the Fiero game. I Think I will now go and make a spare tire cover. LOL.
Thank you for looking.

Wen't and got the oil changed today and the tech opened the front of the car and he was clueless as to where the motor was. Had a good laugh with my son.
Did a little bit on the car today. I changed the gauge cluster out now I have all v6 gauges. the old temp gauge read 0 on the old gauge and on the new one it pegs out. I know the car is not overheating. I ordered a new sensor for the gauge and a new terminal to splice in to the car. The Tack reads right now as well. The old tach was reading way off but this one is great.
Did a few things today. Installed new 4x6 cerwin vega speakers in the back. Now the system sounds great with the monsoon radio and all 4 speakers cerwin vega. I had a bunch of screws that were the wrong color so I changed them all with a pack of screws that I found on ebay. I replaced the sending unit for the temp gauge but the connector was not there the wires were just shoved in the sender. I am waiting on the new connector to show up. Hopefully this will fix the gauge reading.
Installed a set of rodney's struts in the back of the car. I had them on the other fiero and loved the look so I got a new set for her.
Installed a new ebreak boot from Russ as well. Great quality.
Great find. Appears to be in excellent condition. Good luck with it.

Thank you guys its good to be back. I found myself going on very long rides as of late. Today I went over 100 miles today with my son. I love the father son and car time. Love this car.
Got my car back today. There were two sensors that were broken and my temp gauge is reading wrong. The sensor for the coolant on the ecm was cracked in two pieces. They ran the car for over an hour and she sat at 190 for the temp and never got hotter. Just have to deal with a bad gauge I guess. The O2 sensor was bad as well so they replaced that. I am going to finish it off with a new EGR valve and tune up next week.
Bath time for her tomorrow. Have two shows to go to on Saturday.
Had some helpers today so I had them work together and install some 20 inch rims on the car. Bought them used and got a good deal on them. One step further to the murder fiero. Just need to get the side windows tinted and I am there. I like the look.
Not sure when but thinking that a magnaflow muffler is in the works or something like it. I already have the cat delete but just needs that little bit of an edge
Its been awhile but here is a small update. It still runs hot when you drive her. I replaced the t-stat thinking that it was stuck but have the same issue. Going to save up for a water pump and three core radiator and get them installed after the winter. I hope this solves the issue. When I first drive it the temp light comes on but then when you drive it it will go off and not come back on. She is sleeping now for the winter so this will all be done after the winter.
If you have a recommendation on a three core radiator please let me know witch one to buy please fill me in looking for part numbers or an eBay link.

Looking good Tom. It is a shame that we have to pause our projects during the winter, but for me it is giving me time to plan and gather all the stuff I want for next spring and summer. Can't wait to see it in person. Dave
