Hi All, I purchased a set of plug wires from Rock Auto. They are Autopart International premium wire set, 7mm, red silicone that look to be a good match for the original wires that came from the factory. Does anyone know who actually made these wires or which auto parts store carried them ?

NAPA also came up in the search, but looking at their site, I couldn't identify them through their search engine. They may rebrand them.

Compare them to the Fiero Store offering of STI wires for the 2.8L, red and 7mm. By the way, the FS wires fit well and are every bit as good as OEM wires.

Autopart International (aka. AP) has been around a long time and are no different than Advance or Auto Zone. They are just an auto parts supply store that handles parts from all over the world but mainly overseas. Autopart International is not an auto part manufacturer.

Chances are, the OP's wires are made in Indonesia.

rock auto buys up parts warehouses all over the country so when you see parts like these that are from almost 12-15 years ago they are probably of better quality than things made today.

The only wires to get now are Taylor, (now that Jacobs is out) stock are crap, any resistance core are crap, get low ohm spiral warped stainless steel core, no radio noise and low ohm, win win.
