So after hearing " I had a fiero back in the day but it caught fire " story's today at the Homer car show
like at most car shows. I decided to ask about the recall. I was told as part of the recall all flammable
material was removed from the car, like the rubber weather strip on the deck lid. So on that thought
was the owners manual removed because it was made of flammable paper? LOL

No, that is nonsense. The strip along the decklid was removed, as it would trap combustible materials, which could be dropped onto the hot catalytic converter and exhaust, when opening the decklid.

Yeah. I'm sure they emptied the tank of fuel and the engine and trans of oil too. Wouldn't want them to catch fire.
