Adding the new center console trim sections from Russ required changing the floor mats to accent the center section. Went from a light grey FIERO GT mat to a very dark grey PONTIAC with logo mat. The console section matches the new door panels with matching armrests.

The pictures do not do the interior justice it totally updates the car dramatically.

Thank you Russ for taking on my new project and doing a fantastic job.

At night the logo lights will bring people across the parking lot like a moth to a light

how do the lower door panels mount? Do you have to remove the original carpet, or does that panel replace the lower door? Is there material that wraps around the door panel and tuck behind it? Thanks in advance.

The new lower sections for the door panels will come installed to a backer board. After you remove the door panels from your car you need to remove the carpet. I used the starter fluid method for this. Then it is just a matter of placing the new lower section onto the door panel folding over the edges trimming and then gluing it to the back side of the door panel. Not a very hard job at all to install. Plus you will get a little high from the starter fluid… Use in a ventilated area….. it does the job of releasing the glue very well.

Russ sends instructions for the install with the new panel sections. The only thing you need to supply is the can of spray glue for the assembly.

Could these be done in a light grey with no diagonal stitching at all?
I'm looking at that style on my door panels and would like them to match.
And Russ by the way how much is shipping cost for door panel bottoms?
These look Great!!

Thanks!

Already answered in another thread, Thank You. Will be ordering ASAP!!
