Perfect day for a car show, great place by St. Charles, Illinois. Not as many cars as years ago, maby 50 most stock are...well..not exciting..BUT..the classes with modified with interiors, body mods and the array of 3800's , V-8's, superchanged engines, attention to detail was AWSOME !!!!. Well worth the ride but a little dull after 2 hours. Then went to a all British Car show, over 700 cars, anything ever made in England. Biggest difference is the English cars are all being restored to original or in good shape and many new models. The people ?..mostly older, doctors, dentists, stock broker etc..professional, wereas with Fiero's its middle class, somewhat blue collar, far less expensive to have a great sport car, and all in all a great car to work and play with. Given the choice, I'd take a Fiero any time. The young, innovative guys that modified the Fiero's saved the club.

I wish the British car show was a different weekend, I would love to go check it out some year. We had some Fieros roll in late that went to the British show and then Fierorama, you probably crossed paths.

I suppose the young guys with stock Fieros should stay home then next time, huh?

This just might be the only community where keeping it stock is seen as a detriment.

The largest classes by far were the stock classes. The car that gathered the most attention and won the Gold Enthusiasm award was a freshly restored stock 88 GT that looked like just came off the showroom floor. The best paint award went to an ultra low mileage white STOCK coupe (despite there being some pretty nice custom paint jobs there).
Remember the motto of Fierorama has always been "Celebrating the daily driven Fiero" , although admittedly most of the cars on the show field are no longer daily driver Fieros.

We divide the classes by Stock and Modified so everyone has a chance to show off their Fieros and win awards. We have two Best of Show awards, one for the stock classes and one for the Modified/Custom classes.
