Well, I`m going to get my car Saturday.
Looking forward to joining the 3800 club.
Here is sort of an idea of what the car will eventually look like.

Well, when I get my hood on the car I will have the old one to mod.
I will probably go ahead and get a scoop for the old hood and I will let you know.

Please, do. I NEED that hood.

I plan on using Sunbird Turbo Vents as that is the only hood mod that I am relatively comfortable with doing myself.
However, I NEED your design on my hood but don't have the skill set to make that happen.

I definitely want a hood like on your car. The Turbo vents are backup in case you won't hook me up...LOL

Well, I plan on ordering a scoop in the next couple of weeks and then working on it.
You will be the first in line for it.
I would like to be able to make a partial trade on your old hood because I may have some more of these to make and need a supply of hoods.
I need to also come up with a good way to attach the screen as the way I did it was too complicated and I would like to have a way to remove it in case of painting or damage.

Ok, NP. There are a few cheap hoods I could also source if needed. However, I have no need for the hood on my car after I get the TXGOOD special.

Tom, I thought I saw in a Facebook post a while back that your car was done or really close.

Thanks, Jim
When I saw that Stephen was putting a 3800SC back into the car to sell it I forgot all about the one I went to look at.

Got the car on Saturday.
What a blast to drive.
It`s a little squirrely because I need to have the alignment done but that`s up next.
Thanks to Stephen for the great work he does.
Leaving it`s builder.

Got the hood and scoops on it.
Next up, paint the non-Red parts, if it ever stops raining for the humidity to drop.

It seems to be somewhere in the mid 20s
Driving back from Stephens I think I went about 160 miles or so on 7 gallons
The 4th gear really helps on the highway
At 70 it's only turning at about 1900rpm

In town it doesn't seem to be bad as long as I can keep my foot out of it
Of course with using premium fuel im glad it only holds about 10 gallons
