I have made and sold these in the past. They are turned aluminum caps that cover the holes under the decklid where the struts poke thru. I have been getting lots of PM's asking if I have any to sell. I made up a few sets for both 84-87's and 88's. I know they will fit most cars without issue but I doubt they will fit on stock 86 and 87 fastbacks because of how the engine grates are mounted. The Pictures are from my 87gt that has an 88 cradle, so I have an ugly strut end and a empty hole.

That's a great idea. I really like the look! Too bad they will not fit on my 86

Shouldn't that read "Available for 84-85 & 88"? The way that its worded now, covers every year of Fiero

He said it's just the '86 and '87 fastbacks that they probably won't fit due to the vent grate mounting. You probably only need to modify the mounting brackets.
