WIth a slight mention of Fiero kits, this article covers (in no technical detail), someones Camaro Z28 Lamborghini Murcielago kit.

I think it looks good, & I'm glad that kit builders can use cars other than the Fiero

How many Gen 3's are out there? What were their production numbers like?

This looks like a "Mercy 4" kit from Car Kit Inc. The biggest problem with this kit (besides having a front mount engine and the bubble dash) is the height of the fenders just behind the front wheels. It's massively high and really looks wrong when you see them from the side. Looks like they did a decent job of the fit and finish of the body though. They went the cheap route with the Nissan taillights...but few people will notice.
