Just introducing myself. New to the forum. I just bought an 87 fiero SE. 5sp with the 2.5L. Excited to get this project going and learn from you guys. Never knew much about the cars other than I always thought they were pretty cool. Found one on Craig's list for 600 and decided to go for it. Interior will goto all black and having owned a grand Prix I'm familiar with the 3800SC so will be going that route for the motor swap. Well here are some pics for you guys.

Do check under the trunk carpet and around the battery for rust, if you haven't.

Under the battery is OK and ill check the trunk carpet. They're seems to be minor surface rust on the exhaust but thats about it so far.

Rock Auto.com is a good source for some parts but you need to factor in shipping costs

Welcome. Just down the road from you in Fayettnam. We have a couple down here as well as down in Jacksonville (NC). There is also another member close to you in Raleigh. You are definitely in the right place for all things Fiero.

Do a critter camp search in the hvac duct around the resistor. There have been fires...
