New guy here .. just picked up a 84 ..300 doller bills and I brought it home .. It has some gt stuff on it and a 3800 out of a late 80s century ..
The car had sat in a back field since 2008 .. I got her home threw some newer gas and a battery in it and tryed my luck and to my surprise she started right up ..

That's great that you found a 3800 (NA) for $300. For that price, you can really have some fun and can't go wrong . What plans do you have for it?

well Neils88 i have a friend that totaled his 00 gtp .. I need to find out if the motors are close as far as motor mounts and if they are i might just swap in the 3800sc. But other than that I just want to get it cleaned up the interior needs to be gone threw and redone and the brakes have to be gone threw..

Welcome. Looks like you have a post 84 deck lid, but 84 vent covers. You're gonna want to swap those to post 84 slotted vent covers or it's going to get real hot under there. Hotter than it already gets.
