Where is the best place to find one of these engines? I'm considering a swap in my formula.

Ed may be reliable and honest but you'll pay considerably more that other yards for one of his 3800SC engines. The last 3800SC that I purchased locally with 60,110 miles on the OD cost me $600 complete. The 4T65eHD from the same car was $200. Now price Ed, look at his 3800 engines on eBay and hold on. The man is greedy.

Eds good dealer. Last time I pulled a 3800 I did the math and found better to buy a car with issues. I mean your in northeast ohio rust sucks . But you may be able to find a lower milage rusted out 96 97 and get everything you need and scrap the car for a return. Last one I drove the car for a month Well till the temp tags ran out. Got a feel of the motor new what to address had some fun then pulled it.
