I know there is a link somewhere that enables one to decipher the VIN of a Fiero. Having said that, I have not been able to locate it.

could someone tell me the year of this Fiero with VIN: 1G2GP119HP207525?

thanks

Looks like 1987, according to this list.

Edit of my Edit: Your VIN has some mistakes:

You have:
code:
1G2GP119HP207525

You need:
code:
1G2PG119 HP207525

Try this one.
Edit: If you add a "0" before the "H", making the number this: 1G2PG1190HP207525,
It decodes to a 1987 Fiero GT.

thanks all for your assistance.

the Fiero in question is for sale in Louisiana. The individual saling it has it listed as a '85 GT, but did provide a partial VIN.

If its a fastback its not an intact 85, those GTs were notchies, also would have a 4 speed if manual.
If its an intact 86-88 GT its a fastback.

The photo provided by the individual posting the car for sale is that of a fastback.

Yeah... although a spirited bidding war for a Fiero is unlikely to develop...
