Doesn't say it was used in the show. I would imagine the production company might hold ownership of several cars though, for potential use in the show (or other shows). Replicas aren't uncommon for use in films and shows. The company probably owns many cars, and no longer needed this one (or declined to further maintain it as something was going wrong), so they sold it.

They're not even scans of photos. They're scans of photos that were printed on an inkjet, on standard printer paper.

It's not stretched - giveaway on all F40 kit cars is the short distance from the rear side vent to the rear of the door. Stock length with this car.
