I bought a rust-less rolling chasis similar to that on ebay about 2-3 years ago in Waterloo Ontario.. paid $250 for it, drove down 10 hours, rented a uhaul and brought it home.. it probably ended up somewhere around the $600 when you factor in gas and food and what not.

Worth it if you've been looking for a rust free chasis for a while and all the parts cars are rusted to hell + I'm sure the guy is negotiable, scrap prices on that is nearly nothing. In my case it was an abandoned kit car project that had sat the past 15 years or so

I paid $800 for an excellent chassis three years ago. An '86 2.5L 5 spd coupe (107,000 kilometers or 66,500 miles) was still attached & I drove it home in about an hour. Much better condition than my `84 SE with 362,000 kilometers or 224900 miles.

It just needs a little tlc and some elbow grease ...

Although I would think it's worth 500-600 if you wanted to do a kit car saves allot of time stripping it down.
