but he will live again! I am on the side of the road and the car stalled on me. I went to start it and it made a really loud clattering noise and then the noise went away.

now when I try to start it it turns over very fast and does not fire. The Tach also does not move. This is the second timing chain on the second engine in a row that has snapped on me I guess I have work ahead of me.

It lives! The noise from the engine seems to have been a rapid misfire in the coil. Sounded like the engine was tearing itself apart when I tried to start it again....

The coil finally died, replaced the coil, and back up and running.

Sounded identical to when the first timing chain broke.

Glad it was something simple and not catastrophic. That would have sucked.
