That's be 31, not 11111.

0x2b67 would be the hexadecimal for 11111.

How did you do the conversion?

http://www.mathsisfun.com/b...cimal-converter.html
This calculator says 0011000100110001001100010011000100110001 in binary = 211278704945 in decimal or 3131313131 in hexidecimal

Same for this calculator: http://www.stringfunction.com/binary-decimal.html

There are 10 types of people in the world.
Those who understand binary.
And those who don't.

That's actually the character "1" in ASCII repeated in 5 bytes (8 bits each).
00110001 00110001 00110001 00110001 00110001

It would be 1F for 11111.

Formula (in base numbers): (11111)2 = (1F)16 = 1Fh

No, it isn't. 1f is 31. 11111 is the decimal representation, not the binary representation.

python -c "print('%d' % 0x1f)"
31

python -c "print('0x%x' % 11111)"
0x2b67

I do this for a living.
