Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun?

Found an 84 in the yard and when I popped the trunk I found an Edlebrock intake, Holley TBI (aftermarket one, not stock), a aluminum PONTIAC valve cover (the two piece one) and an Accel HEI coil. Stripped it all off, cleaned it up and sold it all for 4x what I paid for it.

Found a 91 Cutlass w/ 5 speed Getrag 284 trans. Pulled the trans and the entire wire harness/ECM. Used the ECM/Harness on my DOHC 3.4 swap which was perfect, and sold the 284 for $500. I paid $77 bucks for it all.

Found a 90 Mclarean Turbo 3.1L GP a few months ago, I should have pulled the motor/trans and used it in my 88GT, but I pulled a 2004 3800 instead. A few days later I went back to the Turbo GP and did my best to pull off the "Good Parts". I could not get the turbo or manifolds but did pull off the intercooler, ECM and some misc tubes/brackets.

I love my local Pick n Pull, but the older cars are getting harder and harder to find. Looking forward to my First Series III, supercharged 3800 engine pull. They only get about $180 bucks for a full motor, w/ extras.

NO WAY. I found one in my local Pick N Pull a few months ago and didn't pull any of this. It was all there, the damn thing was perfect. I did pull the shift knob / boot because it was all leather. I wish I had known that stuff was worth big $$$$

Got the same pieces not long ago, was about $30 though for everything but it was worth it for what it is worth.

Last Saturday I went to the junkyard and ripped the headlight module out of a fourth generation Firebird, got a power mirror switch out of a Cavalier (perfect interior), and the black part of the instrument panel (with all of the idiot lights and stuff) out of a Fiero. Got it all for $24. The module worked perfectly and the headlights were finally working for the first time in 11 months. I was beyond happy

My best score to date would be a set of Simmons 3 piece alloys for $150. Used the tyres off them and sold them on ebay for $600.
A few weeks later bought another set of ordinary mag wheels. Sold the tyres off them for what I paid and still have the wheels in stock for future projects.
