I do not think they are bolt in you will probaly have to modify the fiero seat tracks, search fiero seats and it should give you some options for different seats i have heard 3 generation Trans am seats work great as well as grand am seats. welcome to the forum their are som e great people on here that have a wealth of info on these little cars.

I have Grand Am seats in my car, they bolt right in if you reuse the fiero seat rails. Caviler and Sunfire seats work well too.

Honestly, What is a "stock" Fiero?

yuk... we had a Cobalt rental for about a month as the wifes Grand Prix was getting repaired from a major collision.

Those seats were terrible. No support. No lumbar. Long road trip was left with little comfort.

Maybe the SS trim level is better... but if you are looking at base model Cobalt seats... I'd look elsewhere.

Glad to have found this thread and to know the seats will work! I have located a totaled G5 in a nearby junkyard and the seats are mint. They seem firm and supportive. They look great, too! Since my floor pans and seat brackets are in rough shape due to a leaky roof, hopefully I can make repairs and replace the section of the floor pans which are the worst, mainly around the rear plug. From there I'm not 100% sure how to go about installing replacement seat brackets to mount these seats. Any ideas?

SS trim level is just as bad. They are truly terrible seats. And what little support they have doesn't hold up. There are many better options for seats than a cobalt.
