I have Hagerty on my 87 GT. So far, so good. Good service and reasonable restrictions. I love the guaranteed flatbed tow and agreed value. It costs me ~$230 year. A bit more than others like Grundy, but you get the towing, magazine, and the service. I had Grundy before several years ago and it was fine, just didn't have all the frills as Hagerty.
I have Hagerty for 88 GT and 88 Reatta. Very reasonable price for 1 year. Includes flatbed towing too. Guaranteed value. Also insures any spare parts inventory kept for the vehicles in case of theft or damage (fire). The only stipulation that Im aware of is that you have to have a daily driver OTHER than what you are insuring with Hagerty such as a late model vehicle.
Another vote for Hagerty. May cost a little more, but I feel you get more if you need it. The 200mi. tow, light restrictions, agreed on value. I have the 88GT and an 81 Vette both insured with them for under $400/yr, and that's full coverage. It would cost me at least that much for liability/comprehensive with NO collision coverage with Progressive, who insures my other "non-collectable" cars.
I couldn't live with the restrictions so I went with Liberty Mutual Better Car Replacement. The way it is supposed to work is if your car is totalled, they will replace it based on the value of a car one year newer with 10 thousand fewer miles. The price is very good also. I've not had a claim with them so I can't tell you anything else. You can do your own quote on-line.
Hagerty for me, 88GT, $6000 declared value, $300/yr full coverage with 125 mile radius towing on all my vehicles. Used the towing once on the Audi, very impressed with the way it was handled. Seems far less restrictive than Grundy, I told them about 6K miles per year and they were fine with that.
Have used Grundy for the last 6 yrs now on my Finale, with a guaranteed value. Costs me $300 a year with no restrictions, except shopping trips and work (unless it's to work on it). Of course they realise it's not an every day vehicle. No probs my end... Enjoy your ride.....
I just got insurance from "Classic Collectors" from our local AAA They are a sub-group off of Infinity Insurance. Full coverage on my 88 Formula with $0.00 deductible (with glass coverage) for $100.00 bucks a year. Yes that's with a 6k a year mileage limit. I couldn't find a better price anywhere and since it was with my AAA agent I fell its s great deal!
Grundy here. $14,500 agreed value / Must be garaged / not daily use - like going to home depot (unless your next stop is the parts store ) - ok to drive to work on occasion / $265.00 per year - Have never made a claim - Hope I never do.
I use American Collectors Insurance. Agreed value, some mileage limitations, and MUST be garaged. Rate depends on the agreed value and miles agreed too.

I have Grundy on 3 cars approx 6k each full coverage, agreed value, they cover up to 500 bucks in spare parts too (spare parts stored in your garage), glass too, NO deductible on anything, $250 per year covers all three. Towing and labor (related to towing) is covered up to (?) $200 I think? Never used it.

Same here for restrictions. NO mileage limit. They say you can drive it to work every once in a while for pleasure, I always wondered about that leeway. You have to have another daily driver.
One thing with Grundy they had it set up for "inflation guard" so my rate would go up a few bucks a year, I said please delete that so my rate does not change, and they did. No probs. One claim just under $500 repair bill no prob.
Also if they have uninsured/undernisured valued lower then your daily driver is covered for, if you fax them proof of your daily drivers coverage they will match it. They did for me. Cost me $10 extra bucks per year to cover three cars for 300k uninsured/undernisured . It was 40k coverage before I asked about it. Lots of freaks out there driving without insurance, I wanted to be covered well.

I have Hagerty on my 86 GT. $180 per year for $20,000 agreed coverage. Had a claim for rock chips on the front(dump truck dropped gravel on me). Receiived a check in less than a week.
I have Sentinel on my 87 GT T-Top SBC, 84 Indy, and my 2005 Corvette on the collector car policy. $30K agreed value on the Vette, $15K on the GT and $5K on the pace car costs $880/year. My daily drivers are insured with USAA. The Vette is $600+ of the total.
