I saw the 84 model when it first came out. I was 15 years old and I liked the car.

When I was 19 I got into mustangs and ls1 powered firebird formula.

I own a 6 speed 2008 miata with the retractable hardtop, I love that car!

Two years ago I was looking for a car to restore, I looked at rx7's, 240/260/280 z's.

I found a fiero tagged under those cars and had an "oh yeah" moment.

Meaning oh yeah, I like those too!

I found one here locally, and have worked restoring it, it needs paint and a headliner and it's done.

Just picked up an ls4 fiero last week!

So I'm pretty much hooked!

I liked them when I was little, when they came out (I was 9 in 84). When I was in college they were right in my price range - bought my first 86 SE for $600. That Duke blew up a couple years later (rod right through the block) and I bought another 86 from a friend for $300. Drove that one for several year, but once I had kids the 2 seater wasn't sufficient. That Duke was smoking so bad I couldn't pass emissions anyway.

The kids have their own cars now, so I'm selling my family car (MB E500) and getting an 88 Formula. Should be here in a week or two and then I'll get a project thread going.
