I have a bad engine block that I have tried to get to work for two years, finally I did a full hard fill and now it kind of worked. Boost was 10psi at start and ramped to 23psi. I still have 7-8psi to go, but I have decided to change the car, actually today a ship arrived here with my comp dragster. I have not decided what to do with this car yet.
Anyhow, I killed the TH425 chain again in first elimination round when I tried to ramp it up towards 8.9
I will post a video as soon as I can get a hold of one, I was riding on bars for 100-150 feet or so..

My first two runs are faster than last year by .2, (14.409)
I added a 3.4" pulley and a ZZP tune. Still on 15 year old BFG radial TAs.

Then last two got slower?
I changed my 2nd to 3rd Perf Shift WOT speed from 96MPH to 94 MPH on the last two runs.

I did data log the last run with my powertuner, so if anyones got some ideas let me know.
It seems i didn't save it. Dang It.

Shift points have little to do with much on the supercharged 3800 cars... You get full power just about any time you have the pedal to the floor.

I would double check things with your car... You should be running in the 12s with a setup like that, 14.4 is a typical time for a non supercharged 3800 fiero.

yeah agree with DH for once.. I run 13.4 13.5 with my 4spd set up with a 3.5 pulley northstar TB and a good exhaust... your times should be lower if not right around mine..

I'm at the track right now. I just posted 13.184 sec @ 101.45 mph w/ 1.822 for 60'

The boost line to the fuel pressure regulator and MAP sensor was loose. I also deleted the BBV.

Blacktree,
Sorry for the confusion. Same car, 84 NB spaceframe, 87 coupe panels, currently has formula graphics.

Absolutely! $400 for the 60# injectors and DW 300 fuel pump (as rec by JB and DH) vs $1000 + for an intercooler and from what I can tell, the same result.

Good weather in MN today! 65-70 degrees but there was a 11 mph headwind. New personal best with MT drag radials.

Pissed off quite a few musclecar owners - but a few were fascinated.

Thanks Gents. Lost of fun! - b/t/w it was with a 2.8 pulley - please change it on the list so other builders know what this specific combo was.

Thank you!

Congrats on the 11s.....Hope those that read ur MOD list know what E85 is or gonna be alot of chipped pistons. Wish E85 was common down here as I would go that route but it is only here and there.

That is one good thing about living on the border between MN and WI - our states grow a lot of corn. E85 is currently available within 4 miles from my house - I just hope people keep using enough of it to keep it around....

1st run was my first ever run down a 1/4 mile track. I was probably holding back with the throttle. 2nd accidentally bumped it into neutral around the 1000' mark and quickly pulled it back into drive. 3rd run, just gave it the beans and held on.

leave it in 3 and floor it.

106 trap is about right for a 3.4 setup, she's running well i would say.

I said the same thing....This is in the dead of the Tx heat also so I see an easy 12 when the weather cools off.

Car was tuned by Nosrac also to add to the MOD list..

Car 78 in the left lane, 18.27sec @ 72.48mph pretty sloooooow huh.

Even though your Fiero isn't fast, it does provide us with some valuable info. There aren't many stock Fieros on the list.
