next time i am back east i will try...i know where the guy lives and the car is at but i dont have any contact info...also today i had a good chat with the grandpa(original owner) of the pace car out west here that i know about..apparently his grandson isnt really doing anything with the car (he gave it to him for a dollar) since he had a slight incident with it...dinged up the front fascia and one side fender ....so hopefully grandpa will convince grandson to let me purchase it and save it...hehe fingers crossed...tim

Kevin, that one does not appear to be on the vin list on FPC www.fieropacecar.com. Could you please add some more details, transmission type, mileage, location.
To answer what I know. It is a 4 speed, with all interior intact. It still has the stock white wheels, steering wheel and wing. All the decals are there, the headlights are not open,but the engines top half has a few missing peices. Milage is approximately 100,000 (+) or (-). It is sitting forlorn in a wreckers yard. It needs a home

What is intersting with the one above, is that I saw it somwhere before as having 252,844 miles on it and was origianlly from Walton KS. It is great that it was confirmed and located.
Rick don't forget this one 1G2AF37R0EP267117 Automatic, San Diego CA 67,000 miles for $3600. This one had the engine replaced and only has 2,000 miles on her.
Here is one more from Paducah KY, 1G2AF37RXEP252365, Manual and roughly 92,000 miles. This one is Jennifers who is the president of their local club "Mid America Fieros".

I just wanted to say that as far as Indys go, the states that have the most our Michigan (21), California (19), Ohio (18) and Illinois (16) with 12 states not having any listed.

Here is the Indy I have been trying to buy for at least 3 years. Has been setting since "'2001". Not much luck. Looks like it will be like the one I waited 7years to aquire. The sad thing is, the owner has a set of Indy seat covers still in the original package, and a full set of Indy decals. can't get him to sell just gives me the run arround about selling. It is now "2011" and still have not had any luck to purchase this Indy . Owner will not budge. He is a sales manger for a former (PONTIAC DEALER) what can I say. He has a 10th Anniversary TA setting the same way. Still will continue to try maybe one day he will change his mind. Will be at Indy for the 100th will post some photos.

Your car was the 113th car off the line as a Indy and was also at the track for the race and was noted as being on display in the Hyatt Display in my records. I have drivers name , plate and other info. I am in the process of putting together a package that is for sale to verify cars that were at the track during the race month. . Thanks Rick B. for the info. I am new here and need all the help I can get. I bought this indy seven years ago and have put about 2,000 miles on it, has been in my dads barn for five years. Going to try to get it running this weekend, might need some help from the forum. The lady I bought the car from lived in Brownsburg, Indiana and gave me a set of pictures from the track with this car there.

One quick note on the Manual transmission at the track. Yes they had them and I have them in my paper work so the myth of automatics only is not true for the Indy cars. 6752Dan has a track car and it is a manul trans. Rick B
