I need an 88 Duke ECM with cruise control. I have a non 88 PCM right now. The car runs well but no cruise control. I just recently learned that the cruise control on 88 is inside the ECM. I blew up my original 1 and swap it out. But it wasn't from an 88 so now my cruise control doesn't work.

Is it an auto or manual? I have an 87 auto ECM and an 88 manual ECM. PM on its way to you.

Is the 87 Cruise controlled by the ECM also? Do 87's have a separate cruise module under the carpet?

87 and 88 ECMs are the same except for the transmission used. There isn't a cruise module used in either.

both 88 and 87 use the same ECM (127748). The PROM is what needs to be matched up with the trans (5 speed or Automatic). What you've bought from me is a 127748 ECM with the Automatic PROM.
