I have a Threaded insert tap for a 4.9 head bolt. This tap is made special for the inserts. I used it on the engine I was workign on to fixed a stripped head bolt and it worked beautifully. Includes tap, correct drill bit, and various inserts lengths. I originally bought shorter inserts, but then bought the longer ones as extra precaution.

Asking $45 shipped.

4.9? Are you sure you didn't mean 4.6 Northstar? I thought they didn't have such a kit for the 4.9 because of how far down the block the threads are in a 4.9.

4.9 and it isnt an "official" kit from timersert it is all the parts needed to do the threads. Maybe I was unlucky I lost 2 bolts of the 6 that need to be 90 lbs.
