REDUCED PRICE - MUST GO - $6000/offerThis is the car I have dreamed about for the past 10 years, you know what I'm talking about, a clean '88 with a 3800 Supercharged engine.... and now I need to sell it.
She is a 1988 Coupe...converted. I did not do the body conversion, only the engine conversion but it was done well. I have an auto builder shop in Omaha, Nebraska.
Purchased from Texas. No rust, not the trunk, nor the battery tray, or even the underbody. Gotta love Texas.. I can tell it was an off panel paint with vin-matched panels, overall good job on the paint. I've owned a few Fieros in the past and this one is by far the nicest, the dew strips are in perfect condition, no paint bridging, right tail light has slight delam the left is perfect, trunk seal is in great condition. The under body is straight, down to the floorpans.
I do not know the actual mileage on the chassis, however most components appear to have been replaced in recent years/miles.
The engine is an L32 from an '07 Grand Prix GT. It only had 21,xxx miles on it at the time of swap and only 5k put on since. She is a strong runner! Converted to cable-operated throttle body and a 4-speed manual transmission. PCM has been programmed to cut emissions and all trouble codes associated with the automatic. Runs code free with only an intermittent O2 lean code when running anything but premium fuel. Miles on the transmission are unknown, it is a 4-speed from presumably an 86 V6. It shifts smooth and freely, new seals. Rear suspension has all new black poly bushings, all 4 corners have new quality pads with new front rotors.
She has been my daily driver since the very first day we completed it and has never left me stranded....well there was that one time I shattered the outer cage in the right CV axle pulling on a new Mustang, but we wont count that. I have been rather easy on it but I have managed to have a couple short runs with a couple nice/powerful cars. It easily pulled ahead of 2 G35's both '08's one a modded coupe. She even pulled with a bike.
Take it to the next level, lots of potential.
