*SOLD*

NO SHIPPING!

I have for sale a spare Series-2 3800 Supercharged (L67) shortblock that I no longer have a need for. I bought this off of forum member BanditBalz as a complete engine awhile ago for my 3800sc project. Due to logistics, I ended up buying another engine and had it installed instead. Since I had had the engine, it has been covered, turned over every 1-2 months along with wiping a coat of oil to the cylinder walls. You can still see the cross-hatching and all of the pistons look consistent with no major carbon buildup.

If the buyer is interested, I also have a swath of other 3800 engine parts including 2 sets of l67 cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds and a lower intake and some other smaller stuff. All that stuff is included in the price and I'm not separating it. For and additional $50, I will include the engine stand as well.

Original receipt:

Pic of the extra parts:

Not really, I'd like to avoid junkyards cause the prices are insane here.. All the yards within 25 miles wanted over 600 for ecotecs when I was shopping around most with unknown mileage. I know different engine- still I'd like to find an engine from someone parting a car out.

http://longisland.craigslis.../pts/2682976788.html

Thats the only engine I've seen for private sale in the last few months within 150 miles.

(Sorry for the hijack)

I would not suggest this for someone who is looking to start a 3800 swap as there is a bunch of missing pieces. You would have to spend a lot of time hunting down small parts and pieces to make this a complete engine that you would probably end up spending more money than you would just buying a full engine. But that's just my opinion.

But if you have a swapped Fiero already but are looking to build-up another engine on the side, or have a spare shortblock for the 'just in case' moments, this would be a nice piece to work with.
