For sale. ACCEL 140008 Electronic E-Core Super Coil

For the 2.5L (84-86)

High energy windings optimized for high performance. Designed to work with both breakerless electronic ignition systems and late model computer controlled ignition systems. E-core design minimizes inductance losses and maximizes energy output. Special high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration, while increasing thermal conductivity. The finned injection molded housing provides efficient cooling ensuring long life and great looks. SAE male tower offers greater coil wire retention and protection from arcing. Comes with a universal Accel 8.8mm coil lead



Maximizes energy output

It features 0.5 Ohms of primary resistance
It features 9.6 k Ohms of secondary resistance
Produces maximum voltage of 42,000 volts

Worked when pulled off running car.

Can you PM me a pic of the other side? If it uses the standard GM coil plug, I can extend the stock 2.8 harness, but I believe this has a different connector that requires a special harness.

This coil does not use any connector. Look at the picture. See the two nuts above and below the Accel label? That's your positive and negative attachment points for this coil.
