I have another project coming up, so the 4.9 is on the block.
88GT. 91 caddy 4.9 with caddy trans.
100% running/driving car.
Primer flat black paint.
Chassis has under 180K
pw/pl/pm, sunroof.
wingless model.
new headliner, new rear brakes, new tires, tinted tails, tinted windows (scratched).

Headlights work great
windows are a little slow.
also needs dew wipes.
AC is there, but not hooked up after 4.9 swap.
Cruise worked before swap, not hooked up now.

It needs a few minor things adressed, but nothing major.
Interior is decent, a few cracks in the dash, etc.

It has been lowered in the front 2 inches, and the rear a little (thanks to the 4.9!)

The hood is vented. Needs some more sanding before paint.

This is a great daily driver. runs cool, no SES, or weird noises. Shifts smooth.
Very quick!

I can sell with the Scion TC rims/tires or the stock 88 lace rims with brand new tires.

tons of pics in the build thread.
looking for around $4500/trade OBO.

UPDATE 2-20-11.

A few things that I didn't add before...
Windshield need replaced. Cracked on passenger side.
Sail panels are flat tinted plexi.
Tail lights are tinted
seats are torn. there are covers on them now.
There is also a dashpad cover on the car.

Bumping this up. It's on the market again. Indy roof scoop installed and Functional! Wheels painted to match car, running damn near perfect. Drive it anywhere.
Here is an updated pic.

(I still need to take one with the wheels black)

I'll take off the scoop and install a wingless decklid at a reduced price.
Let me know what you want!
May trade for another fiero or a 4x4 truck/suv for my son.

Those wheels get passed around at least 2x a month from what I can tell.

How many Fieros is this that they've been on?

Maybe I should have said I can deliver within a days drive. I don't think I can talk my wife into a 3000 mile trip!
I'd say NM, West Texas, Phoenix, up to Denver would be ok. I could even meet part way up to around 300-400 miles.

I can include the matching trailer that is pretty close to finished if the deal is right. I have all the body parts including the marker lights and tail lights. It needs a floor and a hitch welded in. I cut the springs to match the ride height pretty close. The harness is there, even the fuel door works. I was going to finish it, but I need the room! I am missing the lower gt trim on one side.

I'll have to measure it, but I think both will fit on trailer.

Slim to none would be my guess.....
With the toys that I choose to play with, I could not imagine living in Cali.

You'd be very hard pressed to build a good running 4.9 for this price, and that's without factoring in your time.

It was the glove box comment that sealed the deal I bet.

So what's the new project?

Thanks everyone for all the interest. I think it went to a good home. Sounds like it will be getting a makeover in the near future.

I got it. Decided to leave my '85 GT alone since everyone thinks it's too nice to touch. Gonna restore this one and make it the daily driver.
