[UPDATE 8/1] No interest in the engine so I'm going to haul it off to the recyclers on Thursday. Last call if you want any parts.

[UPDATE] I pulled apart the engine and the head gasket was fine. It actually lost half the teeth off the plastic timing gear. The engine is complete except for the oil pump. I'm willing to part this out cheaply. Does anyone need the intake, carb, coils, etc? See this post for pictures and details:

It blew a head gasket in 2003 and has been sitting since (although my L67 swap is almost complete). I also have a Hooker Super Competition header that I placed in a PFA auction. I should mention that I'm willing to part out the 88 2.5l engine. It's complete and was working except for the blown head gasket issue. The wiring harness was cannibalized for the swap. Someone has already spoken for the oil pump. Does anyone need the coils?

Too bad I cleaned the rest of this weeks Fiero money out on your header and a fast back conversion kit. A few things there I could use for a deal like that!
