I finally have received permission from ABC to produce 50, and only 50, of these DVDs.
They are mastered from a tape of the 1984 Indianapolis 500 broadcast. ABC has given permission to make 50 so that they can be supplied to fans/owners of the Indy Fiero, as long as it was the original broadcast (yes, complete with original television spots). I obtained a copy of the race a few years ago, and just today received our letter of permission.
I am also including a second DVD of a film transfer that we have just recently completed with permission titled "The Heroes of Indy". This 15 minute film documents behind the scenes stuff from the Indy 500. I believe it may be the 1984 race as well.

Fred - It's not a wonderful copy, but it isn't bad. It's the best that I have come across. I tried to get ABC to supply me with a copy - but that didn't get anywhere. I am just thrilled that they gave permission for these 50 to be made. I think that everyone will be satisfied with it....at least I hope so.

We also have the Sales DVD and also the Pace Car Reunion DVD (it hasn't been offered for some time, but it is available, although it is not that great).
Sent him a PayPal in June, he claims to have shipped it a few times but I have NEVER received anything. We exchanged a few PMs but he stopped responding in January.
R Runner, h.d.fire and WingNut - MD posted that they received it. Anyone else? Am I the only one who did not receive anything?
