Console Mounted Drink holder for all years/models Fiero!
Super Easy Installation - Works with Manual or Auto Transmissions!

The drink holder is made from a polyurethane casting resin and sold to you finished in flat black. I can also provide in a light gray primer. Double back tape is installed on the part for easy installation to the console surface.

It is easy to install. Just clean the console. Test fit for the location. Strip the tape and position it in place. Once it is installed you will never have to remove it. The drink holder is designed to allow easy access to the driver’s side ash tray and with removal of one Philips screw easy access to the passenger side ash tray. Removal of that one screw will allow access to the fasteners found under the ash trays.

If you need to remove the console you will not have to remove the drink holder. Check the pictures. The drink holder will hold your favorite coffee cups all the way up to a Route44 big size drink.

The price is $35 per unit.

I should note that we are not producing this part, only selling it. It is being offered through GCS Enterprises. I believe it is based off of someone else's original product out of Minnesota, but this one has some new features and manufacturing that make it a better product.

I have a 7" flip out video screen. Do you think this will fit without being hit by the screen as it comes out? Can you please measure from the radio to the front edge of the cup holder? I'll measure how far my screen pops out before flipping up. Maybe I'll have room.

I measured 3.5 inches from the radio face to the edge of the drink holder.

Also, 3.5 inches from the right edge of the radio/hvac bezel to the left side of the drink holder.
The shift knob for the automatic tranny is actually slightly closer to the radio so if you have an AT and it clears now it should be OK with the drink holder.

Also, I know that pretty much every flip out in-dash DVD player has a setting where you can leave it in position, "out" at all times, even when the car is shut off. You COULD set it like that and when you need to open/close the player just take the two phillips head screws out and remove the main portion of the drink holder. It takes about 5 seconds to disassemble that part.

I have a 5 speed. Also, I work in South East DC. This car already got stolen and dumped there once. I don't need a video screen staying in the open position 24/7 to encourage more thieves! I'll do some measurin'. I may have to go get that low profile radio mount cause my radio sticks out about an inch with the harness.

It would probably be possible to re-create this piece specially for the guys with the flip-out screens. Would you have any design suggestions?

We could make it so there is only one cup holder maybe - would you be interested in a product like that?

Also, exactly how far does the screen come out on the dvd player? That will help us determine the changes that need to be made to accomodate the screens.

I think a single cupholder for us would work well. Without the flush mount faceplate my screen comes out about 6" from where the stock radio face would be. If you want to design it I'll be happy to test the beta prototype!

We are here for the Fiero community! We strive to come up with new high-quality products that fit your needs and your voices have been heard!

The original design has been modified to a single drink holder available for an extra $10 - this is largely due to the increased time in modifying the original template to work. If there was enough demand it could be made cheaper, but today it is offered at $45 + S&H but we are open to offers on the price.

Please keep in mind that these pictures are not of a finished product (need to finish painting) but you should get the idea. This piece puts the edge of the drink holder 8 inches away from the face of the radio!

Thanks for looking!

Sorry, no discount is available. You can purchase it through the store at www.TLG-auto.com - Just be sure to specify which one you want in the drop down menu when making your purchase.

Thanks!

An ingenius, functional and good looking design. Only problem is that all three of my Fieros have wood dash panels and matching inserts that cover the console.
As a result I've had to use a cupholder hangs on the door pocket. Its the style cupholder than has a flap that fits beween the window and door. I just stapled the flap to a piece if 1/4 " pine and it's held firmly under the door pocket flap with the cup sitting outside the pocket.
Another idea would be to make a cupholder that fits in the space at the corners of the speedometer console where it meets the dash. Heck a large cup can fit there already so adding a basket style holder might prove easy.

Not to dig up an old(ish) thread, but will a CD clear the double-cup holder or is there only enough room for a tape in the stock deck?

Edit: Ok, the more I looked at some of the pictures I'm almost certain a CD sliding into a CD deck would be fine but I wouldn't mind hearing some sort of confirmation to be 100 %

Yes this unit works well with a CD Player.

The actual cup holder part does not stick out any further than the shift handle and I know that I don't have to move my handle to get cd's in and out.

Thanks for the question!

YES! Finally got home and this was the first thing I installed. It looks good, was easy to install and works great! It clears the sliding screen with no problem. Some people will wonder why I'm happy with just 1 cupholder. One is better than none, and my wife can hold her own damn cup!

I'll get some pictures posted soon. But if you have a flip out screen and want a cupholder, this is the one for you.

Pictures!

This one is with the screen open already. You can see there's no interference and not in the way of shifting.
This images is larger than 153600 bytes. Click to view.

This one is the best I could get with the screen extended fully. There's a good 4-5 inches of clearance. There will be even more room once I put my humount.com radio faceplate in there.
