$4200 or Best Offer (or even a trade for a really nice GT)
I completed installing a new Jasper remanufactured 3.4 engine in this 1988 Formula along with replacing most of the rear of the car with coated parts. The Jasper engine normally costs $2400 alone plus a core. This one only has 1,500 miles on it so far. The lambo hinges were $1300 - then later welded in place so they are solid.
The car is running great - ready to go!
The interior is fantastic (leather seats, etc). Tires only have a few thousand miles on them. Rear cradle was replaced and coated in Por-15. Rear suspension has new poly and painted control arms. Paint is very nice. Sunroof. A/C blows cold. Cruise control. Power windows and locks. New RedTop battery installed. Only 85,000 miles. Auto trans. Ported exhaust manifolds Lambo hinges include brand new heavy duty struts. Hinges are welded in. Not just bolted.
I am ONLY selling it because I need it for an investment property and I don't love notchies. Otherwise, I would be keeping this gem and driving it to work every day. My damn renters are not paying on time.
Note - one of the photos shows a large decal on the hood. That hood has been replaced with a new one - painted with 7 coats of red with 2 coats of clear. Photo is to show off the lambo hinges.
Thanks for looking!

I'll consider trades for a 3800SC even thought my wife will kill me. Although I doubt a nice one will come along for trade, I figured I'd throw that out there.

If I can't sell it, I'd also consider a trade for a really nice GT. I really like the fastbacks much better. Lambo doors are not my thing, either. I am too tall to fight the doors every time I get in it.

I'm telling you all, this car is worth way more than he is asking. I've seen it myself. The outside looks like a new car and the inside is pretty much perfect. She purrs like a kitten and I'm sure has some get up and go. The work is all done for you!
I can also attest to Saxman's workmanship. We completed an engine swap over a weekend. I know he is very thorough and would not let any loose ends untied. This car would be a great daily driver or sunny day twisty killer.
I'd buy it if I weren't poor. And he doesn't want my GT.

I just went back and took a look at what you did with my old car ( https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/069880.html ). I'd take that trade! You did some awesome work. Sorry I missed you at Carlisle. Maybe you can make it next year?

Man, I really need to enlist some of you local guys to come help me work on my '88 that I'm painfully-slow-going with! It seems that everyone around here does awesome work!
Sax, if that red auto Formy was another-colored 5-speed GT, I'd have to help you out. Good luck.

Saxman I can keep it in my garage for a few years till you want it back. Look at all the money you would save. And I'll need the key. Good luck. Free bump Joe

Bump - since I just finished replacing the flexplate with the PROPER one!
Renters are still behind, so I still would like to sell - but trades will still be considered. I'd love to be driving a 3800SC!
I drove this Formula for a while Monday and today. She needs to be aligned after all the rear end replacement, but she feels great! I'll have her at the Fiero meet on Sunday in DC for some more pics to post.
Thanks for looking! Make me an offer!
