I have a powder coated upper and middle plenum and both valve covers for sale. The red is ruby red, slightly more red than the factory red. The middle plenum is coated in aluminum.

This is going for $95 shipped. I want cores back so there is a $50 core fee too ($145 total). I will send you this set and if you send me the usable (about anything but cracked can be fixed) cores back I will refund the core fee. Paypal is preferred as it protects both of us. If you have a daily driver and can not be without your car for a couple weeks while your parts are being coated this will make it possible to clean up your engine at a reasonable cost.

Thanks

The pic is a very poor one but for some reason I can not post anything with pip. It just locks up when I try.

For anyone interested: If you buy something from me and are not happy with the quality of my powdercoating return the part to me and I will refund your paypal. If your engine looks faded this is a great way to dress it up. About 4 hours work to install and medium skill level and they can be done.

Electrathon is absolutely one of the best guys on PFF. Great work. Here's what he did for me

I was in the middle of an engine rebuild and wondered if it was worth it to ship my stuff all the way across the US for powder coating. When I received the parts in return I knew the answer immediately.

Put away the spray paint cans. You will not be disappointed.

They look amazing. I think I'll just say screw it and do my best. I'm sure with all your help, I can do this myself.

Can you powdercoat my deck vent grills too if I send them to you? Or if you have a set to send so I don't have to be without while I wait and I can send you the cores back?

Thank you for the kind words and the better quality pic.

I wish I could figure out why PIP locks up on my computer. GRRRR

.
Wow, I've got to admit that the powder coated engraved plenum looks especially sharp!

Aaron, at a cost of $95 shipped for the upper and middle plenum and the two valve covers, that's a pretty good deal.

On a related note, what would you charge to powder coat and ship just an upper plenum to Blaine Washington 98230 using USPS (as I cannot receive items shipped via private carriers such as UPS or FedEx)?

And are there choices in colors?

I can do it for $35 shipped, assuming it is not an engraved one (I have a number of spare non engraved upper plenums). If you want an engraved one, same price but you need to deliver the part to me. The color will not match the factory valve covers though. There is another color (eastwood calls it vermilion) that is close, but not right on.

Basicly the way I price these is $20 per part to coat them. The 4 parts then come to $80, plus shipping, which is between $25 and $45. I have this priced low trying to get a little more work right now.

Okay, sounds good.

Regarding color, since you can't exactly match the factory red, would you be able to powder coat the upper plenum something completely different, such as black?

Yes, I have a number of colors on hand. Black is one. There are many glosses of black, usually engine parts I do in semi-gloss, for the plenum I would recomend high gloss. If you do this you are going to want to go back and do the valve covers too.

Do you have a set that is available for the 87-88? Upper intake, middle intake and valve covers? I do not have a core. How much?

Please PM me. Thank you!

The only differance in the 85-86 and the 87-88 is the engraving on the intake. I do not have a spare engraved intake. I have all the other parts.
