Price $3000 firm but would consider a straight trade for the right 88 to 98 Jeep Cherokee! Just a thought..........

Dropping the price down to $3000 thanks for looking.

Most current pic from the Columbia meet this month.

Thread involving some of the work done on the car.

This is a beautiful car. One of the nicest 87s I've ever seen.
It's worth every penny of the asking price.

David, Sorry you've got to sell.
I'm sorry that I'm not in the market. I'd be all over this.

I don't think the price is steep at all.....that's a damn nice looking GT. Good thing you aren't closer....the last thing I need is another Fiero, and this one would be tempting.

Hey Dave , sorry to hear you've got to sell your car man. I know you put alot into it the past year or so. I can't buy it from you , but I'll sure do what I can to help sell it from this end.
How are you doing these days anyway? Ronnie

Im doing about the same as last year physically, not really any worse so I guess thats a good thing. Still no source of income at all so things are tight, the car doesn't have to go but if someone were willing to pay the asking price it would be a wise decision at this point to let it go, at least it seems that way right now.
With cooler weather coming it seems the notorious belt squeal has gotten irritating so I'll be throwing one of Rodneys idler pullys on it. I'm trying to keep the car up but without a few bucks here and there any used car will eventually go downhill and I really don't want to see this one go that way!

Appreciate all the nice comments from all the guys!

If I did'na have all of my projects, I'd probably be there with a check in hand. I hear the helicoil work on the exhaust manifolds is exceptional. I'll vouch for the quality of the car. Between you and Surge and the others who helped, things were done right on the car. Hope you get what ya need out of it and it goes to an equally loving home. I'm hoping that you can get things straightened out in your world. Maybe you could then re-join the ranks of the Fiero owners again.

I'm not out of the game yet! I'm sure I'll end up talking anyone interested in it out of buying it, there are all those little details I can point out, like the loose rearview mirror, and there seems to be a rattle in the exhaust, and the tires really are not good for cold weather driving, and the quarter windows are not perfect, I'm sure I can scare any potential buyer off if I try hard enough.
Not just in a bad finacial situation but may actually need a vehicle that is easier to get in and out of, god I never thought I would say that! By the way thats another reason why someone might not want to buy this car, it's really hard to get in and out of. LOL

bump for this one.. i'm having a hell of a headache deciding between this and two others. really just one other, but theres another in there thats hard to rule out too because of how clean it is. this ones gorgeous and all the work put into it makes me really want it. the price and the fact that its been worked over is a huge +, but the auto thing is hard to rule out. I've never driven an auto fiero, not sure if I'd really like it very much. an automatic... hmmmmmm. i'll have to decide in the next like 24 hours or so..

Still on the market at $3000, I would encourage anyone within reasonable distance who might be interested to meet me and see the car in person. Weather is getting nice and you need to get out for a drive anyway!
Thanks!

Didn't know I could change the topic heading, how would I go about doing that?

I'm actively looking for a 88 to 98 Jeep Cherokee (base model 4X4), would consider a full or partial trade on one in daily driver condition. Just a thought.................

Bob, I finally replied!

A couple of folks asked about the seats, they are typical. Passenger side was pretty much perfect till my brothers St. Benard stuck a toenail in it (very small puncture, very big dog!). Drivers side has the typical bolster wear from getting in and out of the car, previous owner did a patch but it needs to be replaced if you want it right.
I made a comment about a rattle at idle, still haven't figured it out but it seems to be the exhaust, the minute the RPM's come up it dissapears. Will eventually get around to figuring it out but for now I still drive it daily. It's been on a couple of 1.5 and 4 hour interstate trips. Great oil pressure, 40 at idle, and does not run hot. Sister inlaw has been running the A/C already, noticed when I got in the car the other day and it still blows cold (everything was replaced when we rebuilt the motor (comp, accumulator, soft hoses in the engine bay, R134 conversion, etc).
I know with the rattle, seats, etc, that some will say $3000 is high but I know whats in the car, I drive the car daily, I know the positive comments and looks I get and thats the LEAST I will take for it.
Come take a ride and then drive it yourself, everytime I get in it and go I have second thought about selling! LOL

PS I do still have the stock springs if the ride is to harsh for any prospective buyer.
