Hello, I have a friend that has a Vortech supercharger kit for sale off of his 2.8L. The kit will come complete with S/C all piping, 2 bar map, knock sensor, PCM tuned, belt, 15 psi pullies, bracket and other small miss. stuff. Also he is selling the engine too, it is all built with P&P heads, headers, cam, 1.6 rockers, valve springs, 28 lbs injectors, larger TB etc. I'll have to find out what he's asking but he wanted me to get a feel if anyone is looking to purchase this.

I got off the phone with the owner and he said the S/C kit with the charger, pullies, belt, BOV, piping, 2 bar map, knock mod and sensor, 28lbs injectors, PCM with chip for $3800.00 CDN. He has over $6900 into this kit. He also said that he's got about 1500 kms on this kit.

As for the engine he said that $2000.00 is what he wants, it has about the same milage 1500kms and that it is a 3.2L with headers, 2.5" exhaust, port and polished heads, cam, 1.6 rockers, larger TB, valve springs new EGR and EGR pipe, water pump, Crane coil.

I have added some pictures for all of you to see.

Thanks
Joe

Not sure if he ever went to a dyno, but a nother car with a similar set up with 11 psi put down 238 hp. This set up has 16 psi and he's using water injection, which he's going to keep.

Would that supercharger kit require one to forego the stock Fiero air conditioning?

Actually, it doesn't look like it would be too bad to do by pulling the upper intake pipe off. Remove the throttle body coupler from the top and remove the S/C coupler from the bottom then do your plugs.

If I wasn't so fond of my air conditioning I'd definitely pick this thing up!!!

Changing the rear plugs are not that difficult, I have done a few fieros with this set up, it's a matter of removing the charge pipe and of course the trunk lid.
