I dont understand some of the ppl on here. If you are not interested in buying the kit he has for sale them dont post in the Thread. I do believe that that is one of the rules that Cliff has on here. Its simple, not interested, then dont post remarks, now thats simple.

The R&R & overhead costs of copying someone elses' stuff has just skyrocketed lately.

He's selling the 3 pieces he's copying from me & shipping them to the U.S. for the same price I charge for those 3 pcs. shipped within the States. To top it off my Adapter plate & Alt. mount are made of 6061 AL & don't forget, the V-8 Archie customer support.

BTW: Please be informed, if you just have these 3 pcs., you'll need several other custom made pcs. to complete the build.

I think anyone who attempts to sell a V8 kit of any kind is treading on Archies turf. I myself have called Archie a few times... Many many years ago about a V8 kit and recently about his integrated rockers. Always kind on the phone, fast with email response. Ive also seen him at shows and he is a hell of a guy.

Copying his stuff then selling it here is like trying to sell Dairy Queen ice cream to the customers in line at Cold Stone Creamery... WTF mate?

If you guys agree that Archie should be the only one selling V8 kits then you also think that Microsoft is the only company that should be selling software. Copies or not it is good for business when it comes to consumers. A patent won't matter at all because just like music all it takes is a small change and it is "yours". Not that I condone coping someone else's work, but ass raping prices are not supported by me either.

There's no problem with multiple vendors selling V8 kits. Just don't STEAL someone else's work and call it your own.

Totally agree....couldn't of said it much better.

BTW, its just like some people posting to find new fiero parts and "wondering" how and where to find them. Simple...look at the major vendors above each page. It looks easy to me.
If someone hasn't figured it out, its about time.

So I guess you are going to buy one then, otherwise you should take your own advice and stay out of the thread too.

If I remember correctly, Archie bought the molds to the Integrated Rocker Panels giving him the right to sell the finished product. There's nothing wrong with that. It's done all the time. Archie also bought the molds for the Fino/Finale (from Apple Cars). He has never claimed that any of that was his original idea.
