I've decided not to pursue this project so here it is for sale. I don't know too much about this but I was told when I bought it that it is a GM prototype. I have nothing to back this up but thats what i was told. The only thing wrong with it to my knowledge is the tube where the throttle body bolts to has a crack in it. I will post more pictures of it over the weekend. I'd love to see this go on a fiero! https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/079206.html
I'm asking $475.

**** man dont sell it just yet...YOU CAN mate the 3400 upper with the 3.4 eng..my buddy just did and completed this in his 95 camaro...runs awsome!!!..the only thing you need is the 3400's pistons to retain acurate compression..it is very doable...on my friends camaro the 3400 lettering on the upper intake acually slightly rubbs the windshield/fierwall hangover...so i dont know if that SC would fit in a 3400 camaro...hmmmmmm...i tell him your selling it.......

Hey thanks for that info, wish i would of known that 3 months ago but sold my 3.4 so i don't have a use for it anymore.
Hummmmm looks interestering. (and tempting) What sort of fuel delivery does it use? Under side pics? Are the bearings OK? Sealed in oil I take it? Do you have part numbers for gaskets? What throttle body bolts to it? It looks juicy . . . . .

you might make it to low 14's..... Get that thing running perfect and you might crack into a 13
No way dude, you will hit low 10's with this. Throw a couple "VTEC" stickers on the car and me might be able to crack into the 9's!!! :: Did you really think I was serious when I posted that??::

Hey I'm sorry i really dont know too much about this. Your planning on coming to the cruise this weekend right? If so i can bring it with me and you can take a look at it yourself. I'm trying to borrow a camera so i can ge more pictures of it. I beleive the throttle body from the grand am should bolt to it but I'll find out for sure tomarrow. I dont have part numbers for the gaskets sorry. Yes its sealed in oil. I'm not sure how to tell if the bearings are good but like i said if you are coming this weekend you can see for yourself. And for fuel delivery I'm really not too sure. Sorry. P.S. I did not forget about those seats from that Indy. I talked to the guy a few months ago but he was on vacation so he made the call short and i lost his number but if you'd like to go up there some time i can show you the cars and get his number again for you.

Actually with the aluminum heads and this SC on the 3.4 block you'd be going a hell of a lot faster than high 13s... you can do high 13s and faster with a naturally aspirated 3400... With a SC you are basically well into 3800SC territory

I didn't see them, but can you post the dimensions from the top of the manifold (basically supercharger height) and can you post a pic of the label of top of the S/C?

I'll get the measurment tomorrow for you. The s/c is currently at another forum members house. I'm not sure tho what you mean by posting a pic of the label at the top of the S/C. There is not any labels on it.

Sorry....your right. I thought that when I looked at the pic of it I saw some type of factory "tag" just behind where the snout bolts to the main housing. It appears just to be a discolored area....not a "label" or "tag"
correct me if I am wrong, but the only part that looks broken is that adapter that goes on the supercharger for a throttle body, which you could possible have another one made.
the supercharger housing itself looks fine, right?
is this a regular 3800 series s/c with a different induction tube?
------------------ DONE: 86gt 5 speed 4.9 complete rebuild with buds outback northstar pistons , delta cams E303 cam , full ported , polished , stronger head springs, and flow tested heads and manifolds. rockcrawl's custom chip , polished crank . too much to list
Wish I would have seen this before...someone really got a bargin on this! You wouldnt happen to know the base size of the supercharger itself would you?
Thanks, Jason
