I have significantly reduced the price of the Yellow Rooster. Here is a link to the previous thread for the car. For what this car has done you cannot even come close to building one for the same amount of money. I would love to see this car go to a good home and hopefully someone on this forum.
I have to ask, after spending OOOOdles of money and time on a spectacularly clean and well-built car, why not drop another $100 or less to have it dynoed? Or maybe $20 and run it down the strip? That car is probably between 300 and 400 hp at the wheels, it would be nice to know exactly what it is capable of before dropping $14k.
I understand where you are coming from. I am sure HP or strip time would be good information for "certain" people wanting to buy the car. You are right though, all I got is taking someone for a ride to show them how it runs Fiero87 was it OK?
I know a lot of people like this type of stuff but I am not trying to prove anything with HP or times. I see some of the debates that go on about V8's and they don't put out the numbers they are supposed to. That is all fine and dandy for some people and there is nothing wrong with that, but I really don't care what my car will do. All I know is I love my V8 fiero and it runs really good. That is just me and my personality and wants. BUT again, I do understand that could be a nice selling factor.
NOTE: If someone is truley interested in buying my car and certain things are more important to see that I do not have, then I will work with that person to try and get them what they are looking for.
Thanks Mike

belive me folks, this car is no joke one of the cleanest nicest ones out there and the 400hp seems like an understatment,
you WILL NOT be dissapointed
if anyone was intrested one trip arround the block and youll be scared, its fast... all of 400 hp no BS here, mike did a great job building this car , everything is top notch there are VERRY few fiero's that are truley nicer this is one of the best and 14K is a steal !!!
Nice Ride! I too am not for the power, but the feel and sound of a V8 behing your a _ _ just has a good feeling to it! I'm sure someone who appreciate a good build will see it's worth every penny invested.

Yeah, like Rich said I want to build another one. Bigger and better ideas moving forward. I have an 87 GT lined up ready to begin the build, just need funds for everything I have in store for it.

I did a lot of tweeking on the carb and I have only checked it once this summer. It was right at 17mpg, but I have since dropped a jet size since then so it may be a little better.
I can check it again here in the next couple days. Mike

Youre doing a bit better than I am at 14.5 average mpg, running a 350, with a 650 El. Carb, of course taking in consideration many option that affect the end result.
My current setup is getting about 9 MPG, I dont drive it very much. The best I ever got was 11 MPG, so if I buy this car it will save me money. Lot of thinking to do.

I understand there's no AC connected, but is there at least working air? I'm not sure how the Fiero is plumbed for air conditioning versus regular air.
