I'm making stainless steel door sills, non-engraved, brushed stainless steel. Heres how they will look, installation is simple, double sided carpet tape, or the double sided tape that 3M makes, but it doesnt hold as well as the double sided carpet tape...

$75.00 + $10 shipped to lower 48, anywhere else $15.00

**PRICE DROPED** this is as good as I can offer by hand folks.

please exuse the sharpie marks along the curves, I'll clean them up better any post a better picture
paypal accepted (but right now i'd just like to stock up. after I have a few sets made, I'll begin shipping them (sets will be shipped according to the order posts are made.)

They look nice, though the picture could be a better one. Are they polished staniless steel. (chrome looking), it is hard to tell from the picture.

Im gonna clean up the piece better and get a better picture. Its crome looking brushed stainless, alothough it's not polished... But it is definately brushed stainless steel.

I will be getting a 4x8 sheet and I'll be making as many sets as I can from that sheet. So there is probally be a limited quanity made. If they sell well I may consider making more.

Cleaned up the sill plate, got a few better pictures...

they are brushed stainless steel, as in my opinion brushed is more practly for what it is and looks better than polished for the sills. post on this thread for your set. So i can keep track of the shipping order easier.

Thank you for you time as well as intrest. As soon as I get 4-5 orders, I'll be making them. BUt untill then It won't hardly pay me to get the sheet of stainless to cut to sizes with only an order or two. Hopefully the turn out for these is as decent as I was hoping. (500 people viewed the thread in general about these within 5 days)

I'm gathering information on what the profit will be going towards. I will make another post with pictures about that in a few minutes. Needless to say I personally won't be making a dime on this project.

Profits will be going to another project I've been working on for about a year or so. It all started at Fine arts Festival last year, I designed a christian T-shirt (fine arts is a competition between teens in 9th-12th grade ranging from human videos, to skits, to graphic designs and instrumental solos) I placed in the top 10 shirts in the nation. And Im working to get as many as possible made (400-500 shirts) to send with my former youth pastor who is going to jamacia to be a missionary / teacher in the school there along with his wife and 3 children to hand out to the poverty stricken area. http://www.jaminjamaica.com/

The T-Shirt does have a copy right on:
This images is larger than 100K. Click to view.
This images is larger than 100K. Click to view.
The shirt was designed on Photoshop CS. And its time for me to do something productive with the design.

I was not going to share this fact with the forum, on account of getting bashed. But if anyone is considering taking their time to bash this goal of mine needs to reconsider it.

Anyone who has any opinions on the matter, feel free to share, but it will not effect the outcome of what the profit goes towards.

Again, a large 'thank you' goes out to those of you who purchase a set of these sills to benefit the folks in jamacia. Im sure they would say the same if possible

Thank You

edit: I recall you saying that you were making these to fund a build up on a v8 fiero? Why are you donating it now?

(I really don't like people lying about "helping others")

The owner of this v8 for sale 'mentioned to me that his brother i believe came home drunk the night after him and i discussed the parts etc. and the 85 fiero coming with the deal was rear ended in his mothers driveway. there for the deal has fallen through between him and I and Im no longer onsidering a v8 at the moment.

But you are correct, I was planning ion using the profits towards the v8. But have changed my mind as my time is getting short to get these shirts made and get them to ohio before paul bushhorn (my old youth pastor) makes his way to jamacia with his family.

If I can't get them made before he goes over shipping them to Jamacia is not a route Id be willing to take. (whatever goes through the mail to jamacia is open, and checked. if they like whats in the package, they claim it) In this case I would have to wait for him to come back to the states, or take a trip myself to deliver the shirts.

But thank you for pointing this out, you are right in my original plans, but like i said the 85 fiero that was in the deal has been rear ended and the deal has fallen through. I will get the owner of the v8 85 fiero to verify these facts if need be next time we are in communication.

Edit (address the picture of the sill posted):
Those pictured above are polished (polished stainless material cost is higher, and I don't have the capabilities to roll it like pictured. and since i don't have access to a water jet thats also not an option. Not to mention there are a few extra curves etc. It would be un realistic for me to make sets similar to any mentioned in this post by hand for what Im asking or less but I will comply somewhat with your comment.

all prices aside, this gentleman that makes these Im going to say has a waterjet, and he punches these pieces from the pictures on ebay (just a guess, he's never replyed to my questions concerning this)

I believe my price is reasonable, but fact to prove to you that Im willing to comply, I will sell these sets for $100 + shipping. But thats as low as I can go for making these sets by hand.

Im going to have a 4x8 sheet cut up into sills (they're about 3 foot long by 3 5/8 inches wide) so I'll have a few sets let since I've only got 4 buyers... But keep in mind right now im waiting on price quotes for CNC machining (but they wll be between 100-125 a set depending on the qoutes i get. And thats just to have pontiac engraved in them between 8inches and a foot long towards the latch side of the door. thats the quote im getting from one buisness now.)

But yes, I will save you a set... They're not really a hot item yet i dont think (as your number 5, but in time i think they'll sell) I wanted to get 5 definates before i got any made...

Everyone on my list has been contacted, please let me know (if your not on my list of 5 if your interested in a set...) Im still looking into getting 'pontiac' CNCed into a few set, but no hopeful news on that yet.

$100+ shipping ($10-15 in the US, $20-25 canada, alaska, and hawaii)

I've contacted those who have mentioned about being interested. If i don't hear back from more than i have by now (one person) in 1 week this project will most likely be going in the trash.

Thanks for everyones time, as well as the forum space.
This will be the last bump made by yours truely.

Sorry that I have not reponded sooner.

It's not quite clear (at least to me) just what it is that we will receive. Are these going to just be hand cut or CNC cut? Will there be a graphic included or is this extra? What is the final cost? (I am assuming that the $100 is still correct)

Thanks

I haven't gotten any input on the CNC / Waterjet / Laser cut text into these stainless pieces.
I'll go down on my price (only because I want to better the fiero community if this is even possible. ) They will be cut and I will garentee 100% satisfaction on this product (I've got to look into the best adheasion method, but im assuming the 3M stuff will be the best route to go.)

$75.00 plus ($10 shipped within the lower 48, $15 outside the the lower 48 [canada, hawaii, alaska, and the obvious outside of that])

You'll be spending close to $100 to get it to your door in all honesty, Once I find the best way to attach these to the rocker panels the stuff required to install it aside from maybe cutting some tape and all that will be included in the price of $75 + shipping, It will be precise and hand cut by a gentleman nearby that does this for a living. reason he's doing it is b/c he knows what hes doing compared to me.

I can assure you if you want a set of brushed stainless steel door sills you will not be disapponited. Your getting your moneys worth.
