Post in here if you need to vent about your crappy day. People should post to offer comfort and words of encouragement.
This is a non-political thread and it should be treated as such. If you have nothing nice to say about the person who is having a bad day, post nothing at all.
To start...
While I did resolve an issue that has been nagging me in the good day thread, I just got off the phone with the doctor's office about my upcoming skin cancer surgery on Wednesday of next week... 20 minutes under the knife, an hour and a half waiting for the lab results. Another 20 minutes under the knife, etc until the procedure is complete... Bandage you up in between, make you sit in the waiting room. Then back under the knife... Not a feasible solution when the surgery is right on your posterior. Ugh.

Well today is my first year college orientation.... I took off of work thinking this would be an actual learning experience even though I am doing night classes and only there two days a week.(I think this is for more full time and people who are there all day.) So It was such a hassle getting off work (unpaid because I dont have PTO to waste on this.) I emailed the director asking how important it is for me to attend she said very important try your hardest to get off work.... alright so the "check in started at 830" and went to 11 after that was lunch then "breakout sessions" which were most likely for full timers again. I got there at 9:10 checked in and for an hour and a half walked around aimlessly until I said eff this im going home this isnt worth my time nor worth losing a full 9.5 hrs of pay (I have a god damn mortgage to pay for)..... I am quite frustrated and if the director asks where I was I will say I went home because that wasn't worth the gas nor was it worth the day of pay for me to attend this "essential" orientation. Im taking 3 classes math english and english.... on tuesdays and thursdays and they are all in the same hall.... no need for me to learn where im going.
that was total bull..... rant over Josh
That sucks synthises try and have them get you a bed which you can lay down on your belly..... just a thought. Also I hope it goes well buddy!

I was going to bed last night when I decided to check my class folders one last time. I realized I hadn't done my thermodynamics homework... so I went to bed a lot later than planned, and ended up turning in my homework at class, sitting down, then just waking up an hour and a half later. Meh, it's still the second day. It was most likely stuff I already knew.
I'm still tired though. I just hate getting off schedule. Not really worth venting about but I wanted to post in the thread because I like it.
Dammmm!! My day doesn't seem so bad now No proper sleep for more than 3 weeks...temperatures at night never dropping below 90 F. Female hounds on heat roaming the street all night, with packs of dogs fighting between themselves. Temperatures around 116-123 F during the day. Still pretty UGH!!!

I should have posted yesterday when upon entering a local restaurant, the manager asked, "are you T__ G_____?" I responded, "yes." She then told me, "Your wife has had a heat attack; she's on the way to the hospital: you need to call home." I spent most most of last night at the hospital, and my wife was tested all of today. The good news is she's home and the tests don't point to a heart attack. But, we have to go back again tomorrow and still don't know what happened. I'll post here again when the bills show up. Have a good day!

it could be worse, my wife worksi in an ophthalmology clinic and they had a guy in this week that had blurry vision, they found he had skin cancer on his eyes, they are needing to remove one eyeball, possibly both. wear good sun glasses you go to the dr thiniking maybe you need a new RX, or maybe som light procedure, and end up loosing an eye
i guess i had never heard of skin cancer on the eye, but i guess it is possible

You will be in my prayers for a successful surgery with as little discomfort as possible.

My wife had a panic attack that seemed like a heart attack. No more caffeine for her. Maybe it is nothing that exercise and relaxing will not take care of.
Nick, turn of the dang oven. 123F is desert temperature.
Me, Came home to work on refrigerator water flow and the loose handle on the oven finally comes half off. Fixed the oven but, out of steam! Maybe Saturday is the correct day for big frozen and cool food projects? Haha, no rest for me! I still have an airbag alert on my truck, oil pressure issue on my car, a kitchen faucet to replace, and a bathroom remodel to go. In that order.
