This is amazing! I really wish I could have been to the auction just to see the stuff! Click the vid then look at other vids that pop up.
Ever hear of a car called a Veritas? A Sterling Edwards? Pre 1920 Harleys and Hendersons.

I could only dream of owning just one of those old beauties, but for just one man to have amassed such a HUGE collection over the years is, to say the least, mind boggling. Great find dude, wish I could have seen the collection in person before this. He must have been one hot Sh!t to talk to, guys like him are truly amazing.

These are the kind of bikes the American Pickers dream of finding just half a frame of and it ends up being worth a few thousand.

I keep telling my friends be patient, there are a lot of old people that have lots of money and more importantly lots of stuff that their family could not care less about that will come on the market as we get older. However, take for instance the older cars from the 20s', people in their 30s, have no point of reference that would make them special to them. Most of the younger people could not embrace a car with leather brakes that has a top speed of under 50 MPH. At some point, remember that you are only collecting for your own enjoyment.

My 64 Fairlane is very close to the family car we had in my childhood. With the modifications I have done, it keeps up with the average car on the road in most performance categories.
