Dang, this is a real mind trip for me. I had a really cool teacher in high school by the name of Frank Scalabrino, we called him Mr. Scal. Frank bought a Chevelle SS brand new in 72 I believe. My dad owned a gas station where I worked, and Mr. Scalabrino would bring it by on the weekends for me to give it a wash and wax. I recently looked him up on Facebook, and it turns out he still has and shows this car.

It's almost unbelievable to me that I had my hands on this very car over 30 years ago.

Self Confidence. Outstanding

I keep telling the wife that same things, her reaction is not what I'd call fulfilling.

Chevelle SS's of that era rocked. I had a friend that had one with a 396 in it. Legend had it that he'd tape a $50 bill to the dash and tell you that you keep it if you could pluck it from the dash while he was accelerating.
