I have no idea what you are talking about. Flex your rights is a great web site that informs people about their rights, what to do and what not to do when confronted by the police.
If you got beat up then you are either dealing with bad cops or you did something that caused them to go "hands on" to force you to comply with their instructions.
Called Legal Aid: "I need a lawyer because...." Legal Aid (as they cut me off there): ", I'm sorry.We don't handle criminal cases."
Edit: Now if you will pardon me, I am going to go lay down and sleep now. Pain meds are kicking in My neck is all farked up. 3 full force, heel stomps to the side of the head will do that to ya. And my ruptured ear drum got infected first day. Kicked so hard it obliterated my prescription, medically necessary, glasses.

First off Formula, I was very polite and respectful to the officer that pulled me over. Nothing but Sir, etc. And I was very polite after the entire encounter/scenario. Hence the reason I wasn't locked up the nite it happened. The officer spoke up for me to the magistrate and told him so and that I didn't deserve to be locked up for the night.
Secondly, the title got farked up, was supposed to say "Never "Flex your rights" in WV.

You were handcuffed, kicked in the head and required medical attention, yet they didn't arrest you at the time? Was the officer who spoke up for you the same one that stomped on your head?
There's a whole lot more to this story than you're letting on. Although, if you'd been in Canton, Ohio, you probably would have been executed.
