Reports were that he was drunk, and he was speeding, 110+ MPH, and killed someone else in the car. I feel no compassion for him.
His "fans" are sure defensive though.
Brad
Although I'm not defending his actions, not all passengers riding with drunk drivers are "innocent victims." Its quite possible his passenger was along for the ride knowing full well the potential consequences.

He Dunn goofed.....But really, this is sad . I grew up watching jackass, home wreckers, cky and haggard. If I could choose a way to go it would be damn near the same way. I remember hearing stuff about when he rolled a car doing well over 100 back in the day. Guess this one finally finished him off. RIP

Fortunately this clown only killed one other person besides himself.
True that!!
Had he survived, and his passenger not, he would be charged with something along the lines of vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence--along with other infractions of the law. 110 in a 35. A jackass indeed.

Its quite a shame for someone to loose their life so young and I was quite taken when I heard the news early this morning, the other occupant of the vehicle was a local named zach hartwell, He was also a very nice person from a good family. R.I.P.

That there is good & bad in everyone, to varying degrees? That bidding ado to the recently decessed doesn't nessisarily mean you worshiped or looked up to them? That it is mearly saying goodbye, and in no way implying that they were perfect human beings? That one mistake does not speak for the mans whole life?

GFY dude. Many people die doing stupid stuff every day. At least this guy did something productive and made people laugh.
Did your role model just die?
"At least this guy did something productive..." How old are you again?
[EDIT] Perhaps I seem rather cold posting what I have in this thread, but I find it very disturbing that anyone who promotes idiotic and dangerous activity should be idolized by impressionable people, young or old.

Hey everyone you are barking up the wrong tree .You see patric here has never done a thing wrong in his life . . ever. so he without sin may cast the first stone. Yeah he f#$ked up and payed the ultimate price. Yeah someone else went down with him. I'm betting the other guy didn't have his arm twisted or forced at gun point to get in the f$%king car. Act like you have a clue on how the world really works and how people act.
Well on the lighter side of things i heard this from someone else.
"he died as he lived, with a car jammed up his arse!"

He was driving something older not on the recall list. Dead is dead because he was drunk. A jackass all the way.
Upon arrival, police found a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 "
Porsche is recalling about 1,700 of its most powerful 911s from 2010-11 because wheel hubs may wear prematurely, resulting in a compromised wheel-retention system that could lead to a crash, the automaker told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Ruby and her sister knew him. Today Rubys sister is wearing a sweater that he gave her, (and its 100 degrees here). Johnny Knoxville burned nipple holes in the sweater.
anyone who is calling a man who got behind the wheel drunk a "stand up guy" needs a ****ing reality check... sorry, the guy was a doush nozzle... i have no sympathy or respect for drunk drivers... PERIOD.
I'm willing to forgive him for his stupidity. He made a bad desision that cost lives. I'm sure if he could he would take it back.
If someone changes their ways becouse of this, it will not have been a total loss. None of us is above making a bad choice. A lot of us have just been lucky.
I'm sure his family & friends loved him and still do, despite the fact that he fugged up. Maybe they even can see past this one choice and see the other 99.9 percent of his life, where he loved his mom, helped someone, gave to charity, never struck a woman, cared for his grandmother who was a shut-in, etc.
There may have been things about this guy BESIDES the last mistake he made. Some of YOU may be able to just write him off based on the last minutes of his life, not even knowing him, but I won't.
And i'm not even religious, which I heard believes in forgiveness, understanding, & just a little compassion for those that knew him for more then just the transgressions of his last minutes before he he stands before his Lord.

It never ceases to amaze me how callus some are on this forum.
And it don't even phase me anymore. If it was one of their own, they would admitt it as a terrorable mistake & pray for his/her forgiveness. It is what the Bible preaches, I think.
He made a stupid stupid mistake. At least that is what it would be called if it was MY Son or Daughter. That don't make it right, but one stupid choice don't speak for a WHOLE life, either.
