OK, anyone have some working code for creating google short urls on the fly? What I found online doesn't seem to be working, but I am not sure if there is something up with Google or if I just missed something.

I found this, but haven't tried it. http://davidwalsh.name/google-url It appears that the google.gl "short URLs" are just bidirectional hash index values. Google.gl needs to know BOTH the hash and the original target "long" URL.
