i have a piece of hardware (an expensive KVM switch) that i need to find a power adapter for...
it take a "Q" sized plug, or 6.3mm outside dia, its 5v 2.5amp, i *THOUGH* i had got lucky at radioshack, they have an engercell or whatever brand listed as 2.5 ont he box, but its 1.0amp to the usb, and 1.5 to the plug...

if anyone has something this size from another piece of hardware could they letme know?? i cant find this thing anywhere :/

If you have the correct plug cut it off the wire and wire it to the correct power supply. Or use a resistor and make your own power supply out of one thats a little to big?? Im no expert but that should work. Ive done it before.

There's one M to Q adapter shown here:

Size-3063 "RS size Q" Coaxial Power plugs have 6.3MM=.250" O.D. with 3MM hole

CR30-346 Coaxial Size Adapter size-2155 socket = jack to size-3063 plug $3,20

Size-2155 "RS size M" Coaxial Power Plugs have 2.1mm hole & 5.5MM =.216" O.D.
the hole in a Size-2155 connector is close to the size of a 5/64" drill bit

Some options here, http://www.mpja.com/powersupply.asp but nothing direct fit. Will require adding the plug.
