And you might as well forget EVER getting child support. I've been told, a few times, that when a mother is what they call NCP (non cutsodial parent) the state almost never is able to get child support. One case worker even went on to theorize why. He said that often times they find boyfriends and what not that will cover living expenses. And that the NCP mothers often go off grid because of the lack of need for self sufficiency.

And that's the case here.....There will always be some smuck that doesn't care about her past as long as his wee-wee's getting wet..

I was actually told during the face to face at my home that I should not expect child support of any kind..
And I don't... But the moment they stop collecting from me, my income will skyrocket. And then I can actually spend said money on the kids.

I'd like to note that the children are not neglected or abused by my ex... It is the lack of parenting ability that has led us to this current situation...
And who knows how long that might have gone undetected if that mother****ing mentor guy hadn't done what he did...
NOT a good thing on either part... But if my TWELVE YEAR OLD needs a pregnancy test because of this **** , then that ******* deserves to die.

No offense meant here at all in the very tiniest bit. I have only the knowledge of the situation that you have provided. However I feel that this statement is very, very debatable. I very seriously only wish the best of care for any and all children in any situation, no matter what. Please bear in mind I do NOT want to offend anyone and am only making an outside judgement. But that judgement comes from situations not very unlike your own.

Neglect and or abuse can be very broad and the standards once used to identify them are not the same today as they were in the past. Things like missing doctors appointments repeatedly can be considered neglect. Not following doctors orders? Same thing. Allowing a child to be in the presence of someone that is under a protective court order? That could be considered neglect and would probably be damming evidence in a family court hearing.

So you see how the terms abuse and neglect are very loose in their nature. I'm not saying that yours is a case of this, but please remember, if I let my child go to a persons house or visit with that person, and the courts have deemed that person unfit to be around my child, I am responsible for any repercussions.

Please dont take this to heart but stop giving your ex the benefit of the doubt, cause at this point there appears to be no benefit, only doubt!

Please dont hate me!! I spent the first few years sticking up for my sons mother in hopes that her personal issues would be resolved, to no avail. Maybe it's just my personal experiences and I'm using them in your situation, but I'm only saying what I know. As you could see this topic touches me very close.

Kids need kids thier own age to talk to, try and connect with friends with good kids ,,no force play dates, just get them together some where
If no friends, try a church,a slightly better grade of hoodlum today,or a Fiero group friend with kids ,,
